Presentation

For today's presentation, I presented what I did in the past two weeks. I tried to study what kind forms I should use in my thesis project. Actually the form means what kind structure. 

At the first, I just want learn what kind structure, so I just care about the structure when I search on the internet. I was wrong when I presented in the class, because I  just focus on the structure I want use and forget the concept of a art work. Professor Michael in the class told us, when you research a artwork, you should think about the concept of the artist. If you just concentrate on what technology, form, imaging etc, it's no meaning, just for beautiful. you can make a fun thing easily almost everybody can do that however when you add some meaning for the work, it's totally different. When you study other people's work, you should know which part is good that you like it and which part is bad that you do not like it. After today, I think I have a big progress I learned how to research other artist's artworks.

Secondly, I introduced what test I did. there are some problems in it. Why I want use a square case for the face mask. what's the meaning of the square and why you do not use other shape. at the beginning I just want repeat the form like trypophobia. because every shape when you repeat multiply, it will become more and more powerful like trypophobia. However the trypophobia can makes people feel anxiety and uncomfortable.But the I ignore most important area that a concept of them.

I will figure out why I want use this shape of the case, what is the concept. also should I use the fan shape for the installation,  it will make visitor more anxiety because there are some thing around you then you will feel uncomfortable.
